In all perfect honesty, the only reason I’m still playing Stella Glow is because I realized it’s actually a Balthazar/Cass/Hannah AU.Like I started fanart of Balthazar as Alto and Cass as Lisette just cause I liked the outfits, but then I actually thought about it and realized they work better the other way around.

I mean Cass works really well as either one, but Balthazar’s really not Alto. He’s only okay as Lisette, too, so I mostly stopped thinking about it.

But then I played a bit more and I realized, what if one of them is Alto and the other is Hilda?

But who??

There’s pros and cons either way and honestly I was leaning towards Cass as Hilda, but like I said, Balthazar =/= Alto and also, then who is Lisette?

See, this is the biggest problem writing Balthazar; he doesn’t really have any relationships except with Cass. I don’t mean you can’t invent them, I just mean you never get that “of course!” ping when you need it.

Like really, who is there? Virgil?? Boy have I ever stretched that one to the breaking point (it’s fun), but really, just try to imagine Virgil as Lisette.

And then I realized

Balthazar = Hilda

Cass = Alto

Hannah = Lisette

And my OT3 wins the day!

Oh, and also:

Lilith = Marie

Meg = Rusty

Naomi = Klaus (?? might have to play some more)

Kevin = Sakuya maybe?

Bobby = Veronica???

and, of course, Virgil is Dante.

Ugh, the problem is such a large cast to cover compared to how few SPN characters I actually both like and remember (I haven’t watched the show in two years, like, at all).

Who is Nonoka (Linda??)? Who is the Queen? Who are the other witches and Harbingers? Who is Archie? Who is Giselle? Who is Elmar? Who is Elmar??

All right, what about Uriel for Hrodulf, sans dying?

What about Kali for Mordi, Gabriel for Nikki, and Raphael for Keith?

Okay, I’m just missing one Harbinger now. Take away the completely nonsensical bloodlust and maybe…Claire? God I don’t know…

Oh! If I’m right about where Giselle’s character is heading, how about Anna?

The only problem is that before I stumbled on this perfect formula…I kind of got bored of the game for a few weeks there, and now I’ve forgotten some things like…exposition, and the orders of various events. And some events.

Like if someone could give me a rundown of all the important Stuff we found out in chapters 8 & 9, especially after You Know What, that’d be super.

In other news, I have found a delightful and frustrating niche in costume redesign. I mean, all of the witches need new outfits obv, but especially Balthazar. There’s just no way he’s going to…er, fit into Hilda’s. Yeah, let’s put it that way.

That said, I’m def keeping the black & silver colour scheme for him. Imagine all the other witches crowding into his room one day, and Balthazar eyeing them like, “Dear me, are we having a Talk or a makeover?” “Well, you could be a little less emo, but” “Excuse you.”

lol Balthazar starting every other sentence with “You kids” or “back in my day” (with a wink and a nudge to Cass who’s just like, “…?”) until Hannah smirks back at him like, “Okay, grandpa.”

Balthazar and Hannah competing to make Cass blush by saying “tuning” in increasingly sexy tones of voice. Bonus points if you work in “conductor.” The winner will be decided when Cass can’t enter the Tuning Hall without whoever’s in charge* asking him if he needs to lie down.
